Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla view health conditions of Presiding Patron of Maha Wizitayon Monastery of Mandalay, injured Tatmadaw members at military hospital

Presiding Patron of Maha Wizitayon Monastery of Mandalay State Ovada­cariya Abhigraha Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Vicarinda Bhivamsa, aged 96 and Vasa 76, is receiving medical treatment at the military hospital in Py­inOoLwin.

 

Chairman of the State Administration Council Com­mander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and officials looked into healthcare services being pro­vided to the Sayadaw yesterday morning.

 

Officials reported to the Senior General, his wife, and his entourage about medical checkups, healthcare services, and the health conditions of the Sayadaw.

 

In his response to the re­ports, the Senior General gave guidance on continuously checking the health conditions of the Sayadaw for providing necessary assistance, arrange­ments for the Sayadaw to im­prove immune system, personal hygiene, and physical exercises, and provisions for health aid equipment for the Sayadaw to reside at the monastery with improved health conditions.

 

The Senior General and wife donated offerings, med­icines, nutritious meals and alms to the Sayadaw.

 

The Senior General and his wife comforted Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members, and local peo­ple’s militia receiving medical treatments for their injuries they sustained while serving State defence and security du­ties.

 

The Senior General asked about injuries and treatments of Tatmadaw members, MPF members and people’s militia individually and fulfilled their needs.

 

The Senior General, his wife and his entourage present­ed cash awards and gifts to the patients.

 

Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, also cor­dially comforted families of Tatmadaw members receiving treatment at the maternity and child wards of the hospital and presented gifts.

 

The Senior General viewed the use of medical and hospital equipment and medical wards.

While in PyinOoLwin sta­tion, the Senior General and party inspected regiments and units, training schools and med­ical academies. — MNA/TTA
