With the aim of helping women scrape a living, a two-month sewing training course was opened in Ahnyin village in Nyaungbee village-tract, Kyun Su township, Myeik district, Taninthayi region yesterday morning with an opening speech by Deputy Director U Aung Kyaw Oo of the District Rural Development Department.
Then, U Zaw Soe Moe Aung, head of the Township RDD explained the aim of the training course, urging the trainees to try hard in the training without absence. The training course covers making a range of clothing including children’s wear, men’s wear and ladies’ wear.
A total of 26 trainees from Naungbee, Paeyar and Ahnyin villages in the township attending the training course that will continue till 13 August.—Sithu Ya aung
