SHAN State Chief Minis­ter U Sai Htein Soe and his wife, accompanied by state ministers, the state advocate-general and of­ficials, released 207,000 fingerlings into the nat­ural waters of Inlay Lake in Nyaungshwe on 11 July.

 

The chief minister in­spected weed removal ac­tivities in the lake carried out by the Nyaungshwe Township Irrigation and Water Utilization Man­agement Department to preserve the cleanliness and beauty of Inlay Lake. He also visited Heya Ywa­ma Village, where local MSME products from the Inlay region of south­ern Shan State are pro­duced and sold. — Maung Maung Than (Taunggyi)/ MKKS
