Shan State Minister for Electricity U Sai Hseng Tip Long and concerned officials joined a campaign to distribute facial masks to residents free of charge in Mongpyin Township, Shan State this morning.
Together with Township Administrator U Arkar Tin Oo, departmental staff, firefighters, and members of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, the minister joined the campaign, calling for wearing facial masks when going outside, abiding by the rules over the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Next, the participants to the campaign shared knowledge about the risks of coronavirus and distributed 2000 facial masks to residents.—May Mon Htut (IPRD)
