Shan State player joins Shan United for new football season

Shan United have signed a Shan State native player named Ye Yint Aung from Taunggyi, city of Shan State according to team officials.

The 23-year-old winger is a graduate from the Myanmar Football Academy Mandalay.

The young player has been selected multiple times in U-16 and U-19 Myanmar National Teams.

Currently he is a selection for the Myanmar Senior National Team.

“Despite his young age, Ye Yint Aung has an impressive amount of experiences as he started playing for Myanmar National League matches along with Yadanabon FC since 2019,” team officials said.

Upon his arrival to the Shan United, Ye Yint Aung said, “I got offers but I only want to play in a (Shan) State team. My father really wishes to see me playing for our State team. Well, I do want to show my gratitude to our parents. Another reason is friends. I have so many friends in Shan United. There are no only my classmates from football academy but also my teammates from Phoenix FC as well.

“Very last reason is I want to get a league champions title. I believe in Shan United FC. I can be a champion if I play in this team. I want to be a part of Champions! I want to show what I am capable of. I would like to improve my life and status to next level,” he added.—KZL
