CURRENT champion Shan United and Yangon United each secured victories, while Yamanya United was relegated during the Myanmar National League matches played on 25 and 26 February.
On 25 February, Shan United defeated Ayeyawady United 6-1, and Yangon United beat Maha United 2-0. With these wins, Shan United strengthened their hold on the championship despite having one less match than Yangon United. If Yangon United defeats Rakhine United in match 15 on 2 March, they can reclaim the top spot.
On 26 February, Dagon Port defeated Yamanya United 5-2, while Thitsa Arman and Ayeyawady United drew 0-0. The loss confirmed Rakhine United’s relegation as they fell to 11th place, 10 points behind Dagon Port, with three matches remaining. The final spot will be contested by Rakhine United, Thitsar Arman, and Dagon Port.
After match 19, Yangon United leads with 48 points, Shan United has 46, Dagon Star United has 35, Hanthawady United has 27, Maha United and ISPE have 25 each, Yadanabon United and Ayeyawady United have 23 each, Rakhine United has 18, Thitsar Arman has 17, Dagon Port has 16, and Rakhine United has six points.
