Skinned carcass of elephant found in Ngapudaw

A skinned elephant carcass was found in Nagpudaw, Ayeyawady Region on 24 January, and police are seeking to arrest the poachers. The carcass was found during a routine patrol by rangers in the Hsinma Forest Reserve.


The carcass was missing its tusks and ears, according to officials. Leather from the carcass was found near the site.
