Some households evacuated to safety place due to increase in water level of Thanlwin River

Due to the increase in water level of Thanlwin River, water entered into some houses in low-lying areas in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State. Accordingly, officials assisted flood victims to move to safety places.

Now, a toal of 129 people from 24 households from Ywathit Ward-2 and 456 people from 98 households from Shwe-Pyi-Daw Ward were evacuated to a monastery at Myoma Ward.

The Township Administrator and departmental officials gave necessary aids to the victims.
