Yekyi, November 16
A certificate awarding ceremony for 119 special police members who served as polling station security guards in the November 8 multi-party democratic general election was held at the townhall in Yekyi Township, Ayeyarwady Region on November 15.
On the occasion, Township Administrator U Min Khaing Win delivered an address. The chief of township police force Police Major Aung Kan Nyunt said that 119 special police members were lectured about police discipline law, electoral law, police ethnics, special police duties and criminal law under the direction of the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Next, concerned officials presented certificates of honour to the special police members sent by the Myanmar Police Force.
