The inter-schools U-18 track and field contest was held in conjunction with a prize awarding event at the township sports ground in Mindon Township, Magway Region yesterday morning.
The activity was organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department under its scheme “Township Sports Development Programme”. The competition included races, high jump, long jump, pole vault, discus throw and javelin throw. Around 150 athletes participated in the contest.
