State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visit booths to mark 74th Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air)

CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and senior military officers visited the booths in commemoration of the 74th Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) displayed at the headquarters of Flying Training Base in Meiktila Station yesterday morning.

 

The Senior General pressed the button to open booths to mark the 74th Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) and souvenir shops. Together with the attendees to the ceremony, the Senior General viewed around the records of aviation history, uniforms of the Tatmadaw (Air) in successive eras, documentary photos on the Tatmadaw (Air), documentary photos of those who served as the Commanders-in-Chief (Air), documentary photos on the performances of the Tatmadaw (Air) in the Mongyawng, Methawaw and Sisiwam-Tapan clashes, photos of those from the Tatmadaw (Air) who won gallantry medals, the commissioning ceremonies of airplanes and helicopters into services at the Tatmadaw (Air), training of officers, other ranks and files, and substituted staff of the Tatmadaw (Air), documentary photos on international relations, development of the Tatmadaw (Air) from 2012 to 2020, documentary photos in awarding outstanding fighters in the successive Commanders-in-Chief (Air), avionic devices used at airplanes and helicopters, scale models of modern new generation aircraft, pilot equipment, VNR-AF-1 of the Tatmadaw (Air), security of military personnel, preventive measures of the virus and machinery displayed at the booths.

 

The Senior General, wife and party signed the visitors’ book of the 74th Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air), visited the souvenir shop, traditional foodstuffs shop, book shop and personal goods shops selling products from the Tatmadaw and cordially greeted officers, other ranks and families. —MNA
