Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Sun Guoxiang, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, at 11:15 am on 7 November 2019 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters pertaining to the recent developments on peace and national reconciliation process as well as China’s continued constructive support for the Myanmar government’s endeavours.
