Tachilek, 16 September
Police in Tachilek, Eastern Shan State seized 100,000 stimulant tablets and one handmade gun in a vehicle search in a tollgate on 15 September.
The search was conducted at a tollgate exit of Tahlay by the policemen at about 5:30 p.m. on 13 September. The security personnel discovered 100,000 stimulant pills and one percussion lock firearm in the car.
Action has been taken against the motorist identified as Kya Bo Shee, 23 years under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by the local police station.—MOHA
