Stimulant tablets seized in Maungtaw, Rakhine State

Local authorities arrested a man along with 76000 stimulant tablets in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State on 24 July.

 

Acting on a tip-off, members of security force on 24 July searched a man, identified as Ziraman, 27, who was walking on Pazunkan-Tabaung Road and confiscated 76000 stimulant tablets weighing 7.6 kg worth K 152.0 million from him.

 

Authorities filed charges against Ziraman from Pezi Village, Maungtaw Township under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Thet Lwin Soe, IPRD
