Ceremonies to donate cash and kind to storm victims from ten villages were simultaneously held in two separate locations in Ingapu Township, Ayeyawady Region on 22 October.
At the ceremonies, officials from the Department of Disaster Management presented relief items, construction materials and rice worth around Ks. 1.5 million to storm victims through village administrators.
Five houses collapsed, 20 houses’ roof flipped over and a monastery was destroyed by fire on 17 October.
