A ceremony to provide storm victims with cash and kind was held at the office of General Administration Department in Minhla, Bago Region on 5 August.
On the occasion, officials from the Department of Disaster Management presented Ks. 500,000 for purchasing construction materials, relief items and Ks. 65,100 for buying rice totaling Ks. 565,100 to storm victims from five households from Padethagon Village, Moenyo Town.
They became the victims of natural disaster after the gusty winds prompted by heavy rains swept through Minhla Township on 3 August.—Pauk Sa
