Taninthayi, 9 July
The strong winds and torrential rains triggered the collapse of a house Let Taung Yar Village in Taninthayi Township on 8 July.
Village Administrator Daw Myint Maw made arrangements for accommodating four storm victims from the damaged house at their relative’s house and no casualties were reported in the incident.
Officials from the Department of Disaster Management and the Myanmar Red Cross Society presented sanitary items and cash assistance for purchasing construction materials and rice on a door to door basis.
