No reports of damages or casualties were available following a strong earthquake outside Myanmar which was recorded early this morning, according to a source from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).


A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter outside Myanmar jolted Sulawesi, Indonesia. It was recorded at 3:29 a.m. today at a latitude of 0.10°, and longitude of 123.04°E, with a depth of 170 kilometers and about 2,176 miles southeast of the Kabaaye seismological observatory, the DMH announced.
