Students aged 12 and above received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at B.E.H.S in Lweput Village in Hsihseng Township, Pa'O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South) yesterday.
The health workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students and watched them for 30 minutes after receiving the vaccine.
Medical workers conducted vaccination campaign, with the collaboration of officials from education department, village administrators and volunteers. Medical workers will continue to vaccinate the remaining students in the township.
