A total of 1000 students aged 12 and above received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination site in Myauk-in Ward in Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region on 15 November at about 9 am.
Of 12316 students above 12 years old in middle schools and high schools in Kaw Lin Township in 2021-22 Academic years, 526 students have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on 25 October this year and other 1000 have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on 15 November, according to the Township Committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment.
Medical workers conducted vaccination campaign in line with Covid-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health. The vaccination was conducted under the supervision of the township Administration Council, with the collaboration of the healthcare workers, staff from basic education schools, firefighters and volunteers.—Myint Tun Min(Kaw Lin)
