Students aged 12 and above from middle schools and high schools received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the B.E.H.S-1 in Thongwa Township, Yangon Region yesterday.
As of November 15, a total of 4637 students have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine while 1978 students have received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Thongwa Township, according to the Township Committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment.
There are 152 Basic Education schools including ten high schools, ten sub-high schools, nine middle schools, nine sub-middle schools, 10 post-primary schools, 97 primary schools, one sub-primary school and six monastic schools in Thongwa Township.
Medical workers conducted vaccination campaign in line with Covid-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Si Thu Lin(IPRD)
