Students engage in discussion on ‘Youth and Literature’ topic

December 21

The 76th Independence Day Youth and Literary Fine Arts Festival took place yesterday morning at Wunna Theikdi Gymnasium B in Nay Pyi Taw. In the afternoon, a youth panel discussion was conducted on “Youth and Literature”, with students actively participating.

Before the discussion, staff and artists from the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and Ministry of Information performed songs, including “Everlasting Faith” and “The Youth”, and popular modern music as part of the entertainment programmes.

Following the entertainment programmes, MRTV-4 TV presenters and actors delved into discussions about literature and art. They explored the relationships among youth, literature, and art, the benefits of studying and reading literature based on age groups, the manners and difficulties encountered in youth life, and the success achievable through persistent and diligent pursuit of one’s passion.

Subsequently, participating students engaged in knowledge-sharing dialogues, with discussion leaders elaborating on essential topics that youth should be aware of. Likewise, on 21 December with the theme “Youth and Optimism” and on 22 December with the theme “Relation with Youth”, dialogues are scheduled to continue. — MST/TKO
