Supreme Court Judge U Myo Tint visited Maubin prison in Ayeyawady Region on 27 December.
Firstly, Warden U Htay Win explained the situation of the prison and the Supreme Court Judge and entourage then inspected the inmates’ cells, mess and clinic. He also met with the inmates and asked whether they were receiving their due rights, humane living standards and healthcare.
Afterwards, U Myo Tint met with the District Court Judge and township judges in Maubin District Court and discussed judicial matters. —MNA
