Bawlakhae District Food and Drug Administration Department made an inspection on food and drug at groceries in Mese.
A combined team led by Township Administrator U Hla Myo Tun inspected a total of 10 groceries on sales of prohibited food and cosmetics with expired date. In addition, they checked whether “trade marks” are printed on the goods.
They then confiscated food and cosmetics with expired date in the marketplace and shared knowledge on sales of goods allowed by FDA.
