A surprise check on sales of prohibited foods and cosmetics in Myoma Market in Yamethin, Meiktila District, Mandalay Region was made yesterday.
Officials from Meiktila District Department of Food and Drug Administration and Yamethin Township Department of Public Health jointly made an inspection in the market whether there are prohibited foods and cosmetics or not. In addition, they purchased a total of 76 kinds of goods from 43 shops and made a test in a mobile laboratory van.
