Systematic training turns out qualified military leaders

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said those who undergo training at Tatmadaw training depots can dutifully serve military duties and other duties for the State.

 

In a meeting with senior officer instructors and faculty members from PyinOoLwin Station at the convocation hall of the Defence Services Academy in PyinOoLwin yesterday afternoon, Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing highlighted training and turning out qualified military leaders.

 

The Senior General spotlighted that military leaders are to serve the State duties with the mental capability to contribute to the State to some extent.

 

He continued that efforts were made to develop military technology and equipment in conformity with the current era to improve combat power and combat capability in modern wars.

 

The Senior General unveiled that preparations were made to become a capable Tatmadaw, and efforts are being made to nurture necessary human resources for building a modern Tatmadaw.

 

Only when trainees are qualified in training will the academy turn out highly skilled leaders. If so, he added that those officers can dutifully serve their assignments on the battlefields.

 

The Senior General pointed out that it is necessary to give training to trainees to have the same attitudes and good practices of typical thinking.

 

He underscored that those who would be leaders must have physical and mental capabilities, adding that they have to avoid indulgence and extreme drinking can harm health and may cause unnecessary events and social measures.

 

He noted that cadets can only dutifully serve their assignments on the battlefields only when they are given systematic training.

 

The Senior General underlined that the DSA is turning out military leaders to improve the rationality and braveness of trainees. He added that an emphasis must be placed on turning out the leaders with physical and mental capabilities in making decisions.

 

Also present at the ceremony were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Central Command, commandants of DSA, Defence Services Technological Academy and Tatmadaw training depots, senior officer instructors and faculty members. — MNA/TTA
