With the aim of saving time and being convenient for local residents in Mandalay, arrangements are being made for tax payers to be able to pay monthly taxes via online to the Mandalay City Development Committee.
An application called “Mandalay Smart Pay”: is being implemented for local people to be able to easily pay home tax, water tax and garbage tax through online to MCDC. The system will provide saving time and swift financial transaction in paying taxes. The application is sketchily named as Mandalay Smart Pay, said a member of MCDC U Kyaw San Myint.
The application is being jointly conducted by 2C2P, Leading Payment Service Provider from South East Asia and Yadanarbon Bank belonged to MCDC. It has been proposed to the Central Bank for launching the application. To kick off the application in 2020 is being endeavored, it is learnt.
The customers have to scan QR Code or Bar Code on the notice by MCDC to pay taxes via online free of charge.
