An inauguration ceremony of the Mone Bridge on the Minbu-Salin-Tanyaung Road was held at a temporary pandal near the bridge in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region this morning.
A new tarred road was opened to traffic in honour of the 74th birthday of the State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. The inauguration ceremony was held at the archway at 38th Street and 73x78th Street in Mahaaungmye Township, Mandalay City this morning.
The wastewater treatment plant in the leather and vermicelli section of the Monywa industrial zone is now 60 per cent complete, said U Wei Tint, who runs a vermicelli business and is the chair of the wastewater treatment plant construction committee.
