The Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala), which crosses the Yangon River and will link Lanmadaw Township to Dala Township in Yangon Region, is under construction, and about 20 per cent of all the construction works have been completed, according to the bridge construction project committee’s office.

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday afternoon organized a virtual meeting to support volunteers involved in the COVID-19 response efforts. The virtual meeting was attended by Union Minister Dr Win Myat Aye, in his capacity as the Secretary of the National Volunteers Steering Unit, his Deputy Minister U Soe Aung, the Directors-General, Directors, officials from the Myanmar Medical Association and members of Youth Affairs Committee.

A total of 120 Myanmar citizens arrived back home by an MAI relief flight organized by Myanmar embassies in Washington and Seoul via Incheon International Airport yesterday evening.
