Trucks allowed to use Yangon-Mandalay expressway amidst COVID-19

The trucks are allowed to use Yangon-Mandalay expressway temporarily from 5 October to 30 November to enable smooth flow of cargos in states and regions. The tucks, which will use Yangon-Mandalay highway, are allowed to cross after paying as per the type of vehicle and tonnes as prescribed by the Ministry of Construction.
Suspension of domestic airlines extended until 31 October
Five airlines operating the domestic routes have extended the suspension of their domestic fights until the end of October to control the outbreak of COVID-19 better. The domestic airlines had suspended flying of domestic routes starting from 11 September when COVID-19 second wave started.
