Approximately 170 houses from three villages in Kyauimaraw Township, Mon State have been inundated by floodwaters following incessant rains in the area.
The powerful winds hit Kyunsu Township, Myeik District on 2 August destroyed some buildings and houses, according to Township General Administration Department.
Two women were killed and one other injured after a 12-wheel truck hit a motorbike in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region on 29 July, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
