Flydubai launches daily direct flights between Dubai and Yangon;Includes Southeast Asia in its Routes Network
YANGON Aerodrome Company Lim-ited  (“YACL”),  operator  of  Yangon  International  Airport  (“YIA”),  today  welcomes  the  first  inaugural  flight  of flydubai, a government- owned budget airline, direct from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This marks  flydubai’s  first  scheduled  daily  flight  in  Southeast Asia.
Ayeyawady Region sees rapid infrastructure development

The Myanmar women’s national football team is currently among the top ten Asian teams, with a 44th world ranking, according to the FIFA announcement released on 13 December.

The value of border trade between Myanmar and Thailand has reached nearly US$623.84 million, with the Hteekhee border trade gate accounting for the largest volume of trade, according to the weekly statistical report of the Ministry of Commerce.
