A late goal scored by Yee Yee Oo, 10 minutes before the final whistle, helped Myanmar defeat host Philippines by 2-1 in yesterday’s match for the third place in the women’s football event at the South East Asian Games, held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, the Philippines.

Myanmar billiards star and current Asian Billiards Champion Nay Thway Oo entered the finals of the English billiard singles at the 30th South East Asian Games by beating Viet Nam’s Tran Leanh Tuan by a decisive 3-0 in the semifinal yesterday at the Manila Hotel Tent, the Philippines.
