Team Myanmar to play two friendly matches in June

May 23

THE Myanmar men’s national football team will play two international friendly matches during the June international week, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.

The Myanmar squad will travel to China for friendly matches against China, and Macau at the invitation of the Chinese Football Federation.

Myanmar will take on China on 16 June and Macau on 19 June.

Myanmar and China are re-matching this year after playing friendlies in 2018 and 2019.

The Myanmar team and the Macau team have not played international friendly matches in recent years, and the last time they met was in the 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers held in 2018.

Myanmar national team head coach Michael Feichtenbeiner will select a combination of footballers playing in local clubs and those playing in Malaysian and Thai clubs for this friendly match, the MFF stated.
