WITH its beautiful early-monsoon sceneries, Hpa-an has attracted a lot of attention, and visitor numbers are rising again.
In Hpa-an, it is the most beautiful time from June to October, because of green mountains, misty landscapes and green paddy fields, and these unique characteristics make it a popular tourist destination.
“Visitors enjoy travelling to Hpa-an in the monsoon because its natural scenes look more beautiful in the rain. And the visitor arrival was seen as larger in mid-May, and it is likely to continue rising in June. Hpa-an is a popular destination among visitors for taking a monsoon vacation, and many people have made preparations for travelling,” said a resident. In addition, Hpa-an’s monsoon photos have been widely spread on social media pages, and travel companies have promoted monsoon trips to Hpa-an. Due to early bookings, some hotels have been unable to accommodate guests in June.
