The opening ceremony of the Township Administration Council Chairman’s cup men’s Futsal tournament was held at the A-21 Futsal pitch in the Town of Hopan, the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (North) yesterday evening.
First of all, Acting Chairman of the Township Administration Council Major Myo Maung delivered an opening speech. Next, Acting Chairman Major Myo Maung and members cordially greeted the players and gave words of encouragement.
In the first day of the tournament, a total of four football teams including two teams from Group (A), a team from Group (B) and a team from Group (C) contested in the competition.
A total of 20 futsal teams from Hopan Township, Kunlone Township and Chinshwehaw Town will participate in the tournament, according to an official from Hopan Township Department of Sports and Physical Education.—Zin Zin (IPRD)
