A man was killed after a car rear ended a tractor in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, according to Police Captain Kaw Kaw Moe, commander of Wetlet Myoma police station.
The fatal accident occurred at around 10 p.m. on July 22 near mileposts 63/4 and 63/5 on the Shwebo-Mandalay Road. A Ford car driven by Myo Myint Oo, 34, from Ywataw Village, Wetlet Township crashed into a tractor after he lost control of the car. The driver of tractor identified as Aung Tun Win, 35, Nainglay Village in Wetlet Township died on the spot in the incident.
In connection with the case, the motorist named Myo Myint Oo, 34, is being questioned over reckless driving by the police.
