The Department of Trade has urged importers to obtain import licences before loading medications and medical equipment onto vessels, cautioning that appropriate action will be taken if imports arrive at the port without these licences.
Furthermore, the Department of Trade has granted approval for 138 import licences from 28 companies covering medicines and medical equipment valued at US$10.62 million, which were already stored in bonded warehouses.
