One man was killed and one other injured seriously in a traffic accident between two 22-wheeled trucks in Pyinmana, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on 19 June.
The tragic accident occurred in front of a filling station named “Ngwe Kyelsin” near Kyeeinn Village, Pyinmana Township at about 4 p.m. on 19 June. A 22-wheeled truck heading to Thawuthti from Pyinmana rear ended a stationary 22-wheeled truck, killing two men who were repairing the engine under the stationary truck. Two men sustained severe injuries and were transferred to a 1000-bedded hospital in Nay Pyi Taw.
One of the injured men identified as Chit Oo Maung, 30 years old was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The truck driver identified as Thant Zin Oo has been charged with reckless driving and is being questioned over the case by the police.—MOHA
