No casualty was reported when a train derailed near Malun village in Minhla Township, Magway region this morning.
The incident took place at 11:20 am today when the train leaving Thayet township for Minhla township was derailed near Malun village between mileposts 327/20 and 327/21 on Malun-Minhla railway.
The train driven by locomotive engineer Thet Naing and four staff onboard left for Minhla township to carry out repair work on damaged-railroad section between Minhla station and Malun station and the coach loaded with steel frames fell out of the track, injuring no one.—Township IPRD
