Train-truck accident occurs in Kalaw Tsp

An accident between a train and a six-wheeled truck happened at a railway crossing near Nan Thae village in Kalaw township, Shan State ( South) at 4:15 pm yesterday.

 

The accident took place when a six-wheeled truck driven by a man named Bo Bo Phyu, 21, rammed, at a railway crossing without barriers, into Yatsauk-Thazi train with five coaches leaving Kalaw railway station. The head of the truck was badly damaged in the accident while the locomotive of the train suffered electrical damage.

 

Fortunately, no casualty was reported in the accident.— township IPRD
