US President Donald Trump has attended a state banquet hosted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth.
The banquet was held at Buckingham Palace on Monday evening.
Recalling the D-Day landings in Normandy during World War Two, the Queen thanked American and Allied soldiers, saying there was an immeasurable debt to them.
Trump expressed hope for a further deepening of US-Britain ties.
The banquet was also attended by Prince William and his wife, Prime Minister Theresa May, and Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband.
Ahead of the banquet, President Trump and his wife Melania enjoyed afternoon tea with Prince Charles and his wife.
Hundreds of people gathered outside the palace to protest Trump's state visit to the United Kingdom.
