Trump: No rush for denuclearization

US President Donald Trump says he is "in no rush" on North Korean denuclearization.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, he said he expects next week's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to be "very exciting," and that "a lot of things will come out of it."

He said he would ultimately like to see North Korea's denuclearization, but he has "no pressing time schedule." He said, "As long as there is no testing, I'm in no rush."

Trump said he had a "great conversation" by phone on Tuesday with South Korean President Moon Jae-in on the summit.

He added that he will also speak with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday.
