Two men were arrested on possession of stimulant tablets by a local police group at a toll gate in Madaya Township in Pyin Oo Lwin district yesterday after evening.
The local police became suspicious when they found the two men on a motorbike throw away a packet of cigarette at the toll gate. The police found 25 stimulant tablets inside the cigarette packet. They were identified as Ye Lin, 32 and Thant Zin Oo, 27, both residents of Zayat Gwin village in Thabeik Kyin township, Sagaing region.
The police brought drug charges against the two according to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances law at Madaya Myoma police station.—Soe Kyaw Thu Htwe (Madaya)
