Chief Minister of Sagaing Region Dr. Myint Naing provided cash and kind to fire victims in Shwebo Township yesterday morning.
Accompanied by his wife Daw Tint Tint, the chairman of the district management committee, committee members, and concerned officials, the chief minister visited Oeiktaw Village where he met fire victims and supplied rice and Ks. 100,000 to them.
A house owned by a villager named U Soe Myint from Peiktaw Village was reportedly burnt to ashes after the fire started from ember in the kitchen yesterday morning.—Tun Ko Ko (Yinmabin)
