Union Minister U Kyaw Tin attends ASEAN FMs’ Meeting, 19th APSC Meeting, 23rd ACC Meeting in Bangkok

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin, who has already arrived in Bangkok, attended the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting ( AMM ) at the Grand Hall of the Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, at 9 a.m. local time yesterday.

 


At the meeting, Union Minister U Kyaw Tin exchanged views on conditions of establishment of ASEAN Community, the affairs of ASEAN’s External Relations, and regional and international affairs.

 


He then attended the 19th ASEAN Political- Security Community (APSC) Council Meeting, where he reviewed the implementation processes of the APSC Blue print-2015 and discussed matters relating to conditions of sector-wise development and cooperative measures under the pillars of ASEAN’s Political and Security Community.

 


Next, he attended the 23rd ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) Meeting, where he discussed matters pertaining to the conditions of work implementation processes laid down by the heads of the ASEAN nations at the 33rd ASEAN Summit, measures being taken to make preparation for the 34th ASEAN Summit and its related meetings, the document approval/ issue/ record at the meetings and progress made in the establishment of the ASEAN Community. — MNA (Translated by Win Ko Ko Aung)
