UNION Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe received Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr Lee Sang-hwa at the ministry meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed matters relating to extending visa exemption for Korean nationals who come to Myanmar, holding the examination for would-be Myanmar workers prior to sending them under the Employment Permit System, collaborating efforts of officials from MLIP, Korean Embassy and regional authorities to tackle labour issues faced by Korean garment businesses.— MNA (Translated by TTN)
