Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, their wives cast advance votes in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers and their wives yesterday cast their advance votes in Nay Pyi Taw’s Zabuthiri Constituency.


Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing and his wife Daw Hla Hla Mu; Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe and his wife Dr Nam Kham Mai; Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Soe Aung and his wife Daw Soe Soe Ko; Deputy Ministers for Transport and Communications U Kyaw Myo and U Thar Oo went to the Zayatheikdhi Ward Election Sub-commission in Zabuthiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw and cast their advance votes in accordance with the COVID-19 preventive guidelines.

 

Permanent Secretaries, other government officials, elderly people (aged over 60), and election staff members who really need to vote in advance also cast their advance votes at the Election Sub-commission.

 

There are three polling stations at the Election Sub-commission. There are 2,137 eligible voters for advance voting at the polling station number 1; there are 2,225 voters for advance voting at the polling station number 2; and 2,134 voters for advance voting at the polling station number 3. Similarly, voters cast their advance votes in polling stations in Zabuthiri, Dekkhinathiri, Pyinmana and Lewe Townships in Dekkhina District yesterday.

 

According to the current figure, there are 89,816 eligible voters in Zabuthiri Township; 28,167 eligible voters in Dakkhinathiri Township; 134,603 eligible voters in Pyinmana and 218,671 eligible voters in Lewe Township.—MNA
