At the event, the Union Minister said Nay Pyi Taw is the administrative capital of Myanmar and a strategic destination for local and foreign travellers. It also offers basic infrastructures to conduct tourism development activities, exhibitions and meetings. The place has 38 tourist attractions, including the world’s tallest sitting marble Buddha image and the Maravijaya Buddha image.

She continued that the ministry makes efforts to altract more local/foreign travellers to Nay Pyi Taw under government-private cooperation with FAM Trip and Tour Package by inviting the media personnel, tourism players and companies. ‘One Tourist One Tree’ programme was included in the trips.

She then called on the representatives to share the actual situation in Myanmar and highlight the place that is actually worth visiting.

Mr David Liu, chairman of the Myanmar-China Culture and Tourism Promotion Society, said thanks for arranging the perfect tours.
