Union Sports Minister back from 33rd SEA Games Federation meetings

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan who is also chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee arrived back in Yangon at 11:30 am yesterday after attending the 1st Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) Meetings for the XXXIII SEA Games in Bangkok, Thailand on 14 and 15 June.

 

Officials welcomed back the Union Minister and party at the Yangon International Airport. The Union Minister was accompanied by Sports and Physical Education De­partment Director General U Tun Myint Oo and MOC mem­bers. The Myanmar delegation attended the signing ceremony of the Host City Contract for the 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025 and 1st SEAGF Council Meeting (Part-1) on 14 June.

 

They also joined the SEAGF Anti-Doping Commit­tee Meeting, SEAGF Medical Committee Meeting, SEAGF Sports and Rules Committee Meeting, SEAGF Women and Sports Committee Meeting, SEAGF Executive Commit­tee Meeting and 1st SEAGF Council Meeting (Part-2) on 15 June. — MNA/KZL
